The NCMA Boston philosophy this program year is about members first. What does that mean? To successfully deliver on the mission of our non-profit, we need to keep “members first” in mind for every consideration and decision made. I have communicated that on many occasions publically and privately to our stakeholders that, “if we operate like that, we will be successful”. Active NCMA Boston members will learn, network, and then perform for their own respective organizations.
Although I have personal visions for the Chapter, my main approach throughout the program year is to listen intently to our stakeholders, gather as many diverse perspectives as possible, aggregate that feedback, and implement and/or adjust program offerings or general chapter approaches as needed. This is a chapter of the people (members), and it is my philosophy that your voice is important, and your ideas are welcome here.
Getting active in NCMA Boston easy, and straightforward. If you want to volunteer and make a difference, we will find a spot for you. Organizations, please get in touch with us so we can partner. This is a great place for your people to develop and stay current.
The NCMA Boston Chapter is financially healthy, strong, and again ready to leave our mark on the procurement and contracts professionals in both government and industry throughout New England. Our National organization is excited for us, Boston Board of Directors is highly supportive, and our volunteer team is motivated. Now more than ever, NCMA Boston is a great organization to be closely involved with!
To our current members and sponsors, thank you for your continued support and investment in the Chapter. You make us what we are. To new and prospective members and sponsors, we offer you a warm welcome, and will work to ensure you have many great experiences with us.
